Background:
The complete India manufacturing ecosystem is undergoing a phenomenal shift with technological advancements
happening at a fast pace. The need to understand and adopt the advanced manufacturing techniques is the need of hour. For
the electronics manufacturing industry, IoT is game-changer. The electronics sector is innovating with better designed and
efficient components in sync with various IoT and other superlative digital technologies. The connected ecosystem that is
being built has many benefits and taking advantage of these is going to generate a competitive edge.
Objective:
The objective of the session is to create awareness of IPC - Connected Factory Xchange (CFX) initiative,
which is an electronics manufacturing industry developed standard forming the foundation/backbone of Industry 4.0 Applications.
IPC-CFX simplifies and standardizes machine to machine communication while also facilitating machine to business/business
to machine solutions.
